- Check, process and record incoming invoices and match them with purchase orders
- Prepare and process supplier payments and reconcile supplier accounts
- Perform intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Perform postings in the general ledger and sub-ledgers
- Take ownership of fixed asset accounting
- Maintain and continuously improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Act as a Finance Business Partner for internal stakeholders on accounting-related topics
- Work closely with auditors and tax consultants
- Support finance-related projects and process improvements

Your profile
- Completed commercial training, e.g. as an Office Management Assistant or Tax Clerk
- Certified Accountant and at least 5 years of professional experience in various Finance or Accounting roles, or comparable long-term professional experience
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles according to HGB and IFRS
- Experience in preparing annual financial statements
- Good knowledge of taxation, including tax regulations and deadlines
- Experience in an internationally operating mid-sized company with multiple legal entities is a plus
- Confident use of accounting software, ideally SAP/SAP Business One
- Strong analytical and structured approach, combined with accuracy and diligence
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English skills
